Can I cancel and get a refund? 
No, the festival has been postponed and will now take place in Term 3, 2025. We will release the specific dates later in Term 3, 2024, to allow ample planning time. We are excited about the new dates and look forward to bringing you an even better experience! We appreciate your understanding and support.

When will the Festival be rescheduled?
The Festival will be rescheduled for Term 3, 2025. We will announce the exact dates later in Term 3, 2024. We are working on enhancing the program and look forward to sharing new and exciting elements with you.


What resources are available now?
All pre- and post-author workshop resources are available for you to use and will remain accessible until the end of Term 3, 2025. Additionally, we have released new resources, which can be found in each author's program of resources for you to use in Term 3.
Some highlights include:

  1. Mini On-demand Masterclasses:

    • Middle Primary: Released on July 23rd. George Ivanoff's series of six 5-minute progressive videos where students create a "Dino Plot Dino" story and transform it into a graphic novel poster.

    • Lower Primary: Released on July 29th. James Foley will model a writing challenge and guide your students through creating a visual literacy story featuring Stellarphant underwater.

    • Upper Primary: Released on July 29th. Joel McKerrow's workshop will demonstrate how he uses personal memories to create poems. Students will write their own poems using his techniques and models, followed by a response from James Foley offering further guidance.

Can we swap students in 2025?
Yes, as long as the total number of students remains the same. For example, if you had 450 students this year, you can have 450 students next year. If you have any questions or special requests regarding student swaps, please contact us at hello@littlescribe.com.


Do we need to do anything now?
No, your access has been automatically extended until the end of Term 3, 2025. In the meantime, we encourage you to explore and use the current resources. For instance, you might consider using the "Cultural Connections for RAP: Empowering Students through Storytelling."
This program supports schools in creating their Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP) by empowering students to develop and publish permanent resources. It includes exemplars from other schools using Littlescribe's resources, showcasing successful implementations of similar initiatives applying local knowledge, stories, and language.


Can we get a refund?
No, the festival has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances as outlined in our terms. You will continue to have access to all supporting resources, ensuring you can still engage with valuable content and prepare for the rescheduled event. We appreciate your understanding and support. Your licence will be rolled over to the end of Term 3 of 2025.


Will the format of the Festival change when it is rescheduled?
We anticipate maintaining the same line-up and program with the support of the authors. Any changes will be communicated well in advance. We are also considering some enhancements to make the festival even more engaging.


How will the new dates be communicated to us?
The new dates will be communicated via email and will also be posted on our website. Please keep an eye on your email and check our website regularly for updates.


What happens if we can't attend the rescheduled dates?
All workshops are available on demand and can be accessed after the live sessions until the end of Term 3, 2025. This flexibility ensures you can still benefit from the content at a time that suits you best.


Will there be any additional costs due to the postponement?
No, there will be no additional costs due to the postponement. This helps support your educational goals without any additional financial burden.

My licence includes book credits, can I still use them?
Yes. You can use them anytime. Cut off for printing occurs on the 28th of each month and can take up to 3 weeks to be received by your school from this date. Regional areas take longer for delivery. Your book credit expire 12 months from purchase.
